VAT Policy

Most of our customers do not need to pay VAT on our personal alarm products and services. If you, as the primary user, or the person you are purchasing the alarm for, are disabled, or chronically sick, then you do not have to pay VAT. If you certify that you are exempt, you will need to complete a short VAT relief form at a later date.

For the purposes of the VAT relief, you are chronically sick or disabled if:

• You have a physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect upon your ability to carry out everyday activities.
• You have a condition that the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness, such as diabetes.
• You have a terminal illness.
