Virtual Care is a critical care service that allows patients to receive post-hospital care and treatment in their own home. Virtual care supports both hospital medical teams and carers, by providing 24/7 TelecarePlus® technology to remotely monitor the patient.

Remote Patient Monitoring

Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) works by integrating AI biosensors with our smartphone app to collect data in real time from the patient. The data is transmitted wirelessly to the TelecarePlus® cloud platform for analysis. The processed data is then used to provide real-time feedback to medical staff, by monitoring and tracking the patient's vital signs, or triggering alerts.

Our Health check service offers pre-arranged daily telephone or video calls between our medical team and your loved ones for medication reminders, and to check that they are safe and well, and are maintaining a balanced diet. This includes:

  • Virtual wards.
  • Post-operative patients when returning home from hospital.
  • Those that live alone and may feel isolated and lonely.
  • Those that are worried about their personal safety.
  • Those that suffer from a chronic health condition.
  • Those living with dementia or epilepsy.

In the event of an emergency, a member of our medical team will call the nominated contact (doctor, relative or friend), or if necessary the emergency services.
